The scope of TREVIASC in Al-Mohaisen Building project was to build the shoring wall, install and operate the dewatering system and excavate the site down to formation level. Two types of shoring system were executed, a Berlin Wall along the street sides and a Diaphragm Wall along the adjacent existing building side. The Diaphragm wall is made of precast slab panels (0.3mx0.9mx12m) installed into a clamshell grab excavated trench and the gaps between the panels are filled with grouted gravel.
